Video Production Committee

Committee Mission

To design and produce quality educational videos to promote the child support program to our customers and partners. This workgroups mission is to promote a statewide brand through consistent messages and the delivery of the child support message to all interested parties. 

Committee Objective

Bring together child support professionals, as well as volunteers who possess the experience necessary to create video messages in the most cost effective and efficient way possible. The group intends to seek out grant money as well as donations by LCSA's to produce and direct the videos.

What's New

Lobby Video
Work on the video entitled "What Can Child Support Do For You" is complete! This video was created using stock video footage from the Los Angeles County Child Support Services Department. A copy of the DVD has been mailed to each LCSA Director for use within the county. If additional copies are needed, or if you would like a CD with the Windows Media Viewer file for purposes of streaming please contact Natalie Dillon.  Copies of the English and Spanish script are available for download.
 
Incarcerated Obligor Video
CSDA, the California DCSS and the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation worked collaboratively to develop an informational child support video for use at all 33 state correctional facilities. Furthermore a process was developed and implemented to improve communication between incarcerated individuals and the child support program. You may view the video entitled Incarcerated Obligors: How to Work with Child Support. in English or Spanish.
 
 
Incarcerated Obligor Video - women's version
Work on our second project intended for female incarcerated individuals, both at intake and during incarceration is continuing. Ongoing communication with the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) is continuing. Development of the scope of work and storyboard are underway.
 
For Our Children: Learning to Work Together
Child Support Directors Association is also proud to provide a co-parenting video entitled: "For Our Children: Learning to Work Together." Special thanks to the Texas Office of the Attorney General for creating the original product and the accompanying Co Parenting Guidebook. Click here to watch this video on line in English or Spanish.
