The California Child Support Program
Strategic Plan was created through a collaborative process involving LCSA Directors, customers, and other stakeholders. It represents the Department's ongoing commitment to put children first and establishes the following statewide program mission, vision, and goals through federal FY 2014:
Mission
The mission of the California Child Support Services Program is to enhance the well-being of children and the self-sufficiency of families by providing professional services to locate parents, establish paternity and establish and enforce orders for financial and medical support.
Vision
Children can rely on their parents for the financial and medical support they need to be healthy and successful.
Goals

All children in the California child support program have medical coverage

Federal Child Support Strategic Plan
The National Child Support Strategic Plan is the product of an enormously effective collaboration. The plan reflects more than ten years of child support professionals brainstorming and consensus-building among branches and levels of government.
Highlights of the plan include:
