How We Collect Information About You
When you visit the CSDA website and the CSDA Event Manager we collect your IP address and standard web log information, such as your browser type and the pages you accessed on our website.
If you have restricted access to the CSDA website and if you register on the CSDA Event Manager, we collect the following types of contact information: name, address, phone, email, username, password, and other similar information.
When you are using the PayPal Services and purchase CSDA products through our online store and CSDA Event Manager, we collect information from your transaction. This includes: user name, email address, billing/shipping address, phone number and purchase order. CSDA does not receive credit card information related to any transactions placed through PayPal.
Finally, we may collect additional information from or about you in other ways such as contacts with CSDA staff, contact information you provide for publishing in a CSDA Directory or results when you respond to a survey. Results from surveys, unless otherwise noted, are posted on the restricted portion of the CSDA website and are available for only those with restricted access. The CSDA Directory and CSDA Attorney Directory are posted on the CSDA website and are only available to download for those with restricted access. Hard copies of the CSDA Directory are provided only to CSDA Directors and their executives. Each directory is marked ‘confidential’.
We encode our cookies so that only we can interpret the information stored in them. You are free to decline our cookies if your browser permits, but doing so may interfere with your use of our website.

We use computer safeguards such as firewalls and data encryption, we enforce physical access controls to our buildings and files, and we authorize access to personal information only for those employees who require it to fulfill their job responsibilities.
