Link & Resources
One of the major roles of the committee is to provide feedback during the development of child support policy and regulations. Disseminated by DCSS in the form of a draft CSS letter, committee members and all LCSA Directors have a 10 day window of opportunity to comment. To view an archive of the draft CSS letters and their corresponding feedback, please go to the CSS Letter archive.
The committee also provides a forum for those who have policy questions that need interpretation. If you have a policy interpretation question (PIQ) please see the attached process and complete the form in the following document PIQ's process and email it to CSDA Deputy Director Natalie Dillon. Click here for an archive of previously submitted CSDA PIQ's: archive.
What's New
In August 2009, the Policy and Regulation Committee Chairs met with DCSS Program Policy Executives to develop the Principles for Developing Child Support Regulations. This document will be used as a guide by DCSS policy branch staff to formulate the regulations that are needed.
