Federal Legislation
CSDA monitors federal legislative activities for its potential impact on California's Child Support Program. While CSDA does not advocate or lobby the federal government on child support issues, CSDA does provide education on the potential impact of federal legislative initiatives when appropriate.

Child Support Bills in Congress - Winter 2009
H.R. 1 Economic Stimulus Bill -- Among other important provisions, this bill repeals for two years the restriction on states to receive a federal match on federal program incentive awards. President Obama signed the bill into law on February 17, 2009.
