California Early Intervention Programs and Data Measurement Methodologies

To increase performance and child support collections, California child support Directors are in the process of developing and implementing Early Intervention programs and strategies. These programs are diverse in scope relative to their development, implementation and measurement. The following are a list of documents that support proven Early Intervention techniques. What is the value of early intervention? How do you measure early intervention programs and use the results from the data to support the message that early intervention increases collections and improves cost effectiveness? Orange County DCSS Administrative Manager and CSDA Research Co-Chair Mark Takayesu gave a presentation on this subject during the last Research Committee meeting.
