SDU Transition
Mission
The mission of the SDU Transition Committee is to help assure a smooth transition from Bank of America SDU services to ACS SDU services, through participation and input into the various SDU project transition activities, and to improve SDU services through identifying operational issues and participating in indentifying and implementing solutions.
What's New - November 22, 2011
Though there is no official announcement, the project is "marching" to a February 6, 2012 implementation date. T4T training has been rescheduled accordingly. All dates are for 2011, and locations are generally at the LCSA.

Training is slated to be a day-long session, 8:30 - 4:30. Your training coordinator/SDU contact should have received scheduling information and confirmed it with the DCSS training team. If you have not yet confirmed your attendence, please contact
Deborah Wolfe at DCSS.
Keith Pepper has been working with ACS and DCSS on the electronic delivery of non SDU correspondence to the LCSAs. He talked a little about this at a recent CSDA Membership Meeting. We are confident the project will have mail type-specific folders in place in time for implementation. We'll provide more detailed information shortly, so LCSAs can do internal operations planning around the electronic delivery of SDU mail.
It's likely the LCSAs will be asked to provide SMEs to assist at the SDU during the initial week(s) of ACS payment processing. Look for a request for SMEs to come out in late December/early January. Also, continue reviewing local LCSA collateral for SDU phone numbers/website "deep" links that you'll need to update. It's also recently surfaced that some local LCSA IVRs provide the SDU phone number in their message. You should have been contacted if your IVR script provided that information to callers. But it's a good time to review any local scripts so we are all poised to make the needed changes in time for a potential February 6, 2012 implementation.
